IG Model Gena Tew shares her experience with HIV/AIDS, revealing the impact on her health

In a recent revelation, 27-year-old Instagram model Gena Tew, who has been associated with various celebrities like Chief Keef, Chris Brown, and Nick Cannon, disclosed that she nearly succumbed to AIDS.

She discussed in a video that she is unaware of when or how she contracted HIV, which has led to her current health predicament.

Tew expressed her astonishment when her doctor informed her that the virus must have been present in her system for at least eight to ten years.

According to the doctor’s assessment, it is presumed that she contracted HIV/AIDS during her teenage years, between the ages of 17 and 19.

The model, denying any intimate relationships with the celebrities she is linked to, stated that she only sought testing when visible symptoms emerged.

She also mentioned that despite being uncertain of when she contracted HIV, she took it upon herself to inform her sexual partners about her status, and they have been supportive so far with no one else testing positive.

Tew further revealed that she had been raped multiple times during her period of homelessness and suspects that she may have contracted the virus while living on the streets of New York City.

She also disclosed receiving free tattoos in the past, indicating a potential risk of contracting the blood-borne illness through needles.

In one of her videos, she shared how her weight drastically decreased, resulting in loss of mobility and eyesight in one eye, for which she had to undergo physical therapy to regain her strength.
