Quite honestly, can't see why clubs would not allow them, they are essentially just a hybrid trolley/ buggy. However, if on a personal basis you choose not to like them, for whatever reason, that's up to you. They might take a bit of getting used to, certainly think it's more for the younger players, and you'll probably get some ribbing when you first show up with it, but I'd like one..................... However, the cost most certainly is an issue, and I suspect the thing that prevents these from selling in any volume. Wouldn't dream of paying more than the high hundreds for what is essentially a motorised skateboard, can't see many paying £3000.
