Servite wide receiver Tetairoa “TMac” McMillan, one of the top class of 2022 recruits in Orange County, committed to Oregon on Monday, Aug. 16.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound senior picked the Ducks over finalists Arizona and USC, calling his commitment a “lifelong dream” turned into “reality.”

McMillan made official visits to Oregon and Arizona and an unofficial to USC.

He is the second-highest recruit in the Ducks’ class of 2022, which continues to lead the Pac-12 in recruiting.

McMillan, The Register’s reigning male athlete of the year, also is a standout volleyball player but USC was the only school among his finalists that competes in football and volleyball.

He also picked the Ducks over Arizona, which has commitments from his close friends and teammates Noah Fifita and Keyan Burnett.

Servite football has a connection with Oregon. Former quarterback Travis Jonsen signed with the Ducks in 2015 and now plays receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
