OCVarsity’s high school football season preview includes a look at the players around Orange County that fans should keep an eye on this fall:

Name: Dylan Lawson

School: Sunny Hills

Year: Senior

Position: WR/OLB

Analysis: Lawson was the team’s leading receiver this past spring with 329 yards and two touchdowns. He is 6-foot-4, 200 pounds and was first team All-Freeway League in football and basketball. On defense, he had a sack and an interception that he returned 76 yards for a touchdown. “We have very high expectations for Dylan coming into the season,” Sunny Hills coach Pete Karavedas said. “He has proven himself on both sides of the ball, has really worked hard to develop as an all-around athlete, and shown a really impressive increase in his vocal leadership during camp.”
