Kanye West has been making waves in the music industry with the release of his newest album Donda 2. But it appears the rapper is looking to get more involved in sports, as Antonio Brown says he and Kanye are looking into buying the Denver Broncos.

According to TMZ, Brown first revealed their interest in purchasing the football team last month after he was named president of Donda Sports. When the publication caught up with Brown this week, the wide receiver confirmed the organization is still serious about purchasing the team.

"Tell Roger [Goodell] to call me," Brown said. "We're working on it ... We're working towards getting it done." The athlete added that Donda Sports is “extremely serious” about the endeavour.

However, it’s not going to be without a hefty price tag. The Broncos recently went up for sale, but reports suggest the team could cost upwards of $4 billion. The Denver Post predicts that the Broncos will easily surpass the record sale price of $2.35 billion for a U.S. sports team, which is held by the NBA's Brooklyn Nets.

TMZ notes that even if Brown and Kanye – who’s worth an estimated $1.8 billion USD – can get that sort of money together, the entire league’s owners would have to agree on the sale.

In February, Brown announced on Instagram that he’d been named Donda Sports’ new president. Donda Sports is Kanye’s latest project that is dedicated to providing “professional and wellness support” to athletes. The organization will reportedly focus on athlete representation as well as a developing an athletic brand that will carry items such as sneakers and clothing.

Alongside his post, Brown shared an invoice for a $2.1 million suite at the Super Bowl, which he said was an important first step in his new role.

“As President, it was important to me to book the Donda Suite for this years SUPERBOWL LVI,” he wrote in the caption. “This is a game meant to be watched together. This is the love and unity we need to push. THIS IS FOR THE KIDS, OUR NEXT GENERATION!!!”

He concluded the post by saying Donda Sports would be hosting “community events” up until the Super Bowl and would use the suite to invite kids and their families to come experience the famous sporting event.

The Broncos’ trustees have hired Allen & Co. to be their financial advisor, and the company is currently vetting prospective buyers before the trustees make direct contact. So, it remains to be seen if Donda Sports’ desire to purchase the team will come true.
