While the obsession with a cartoon character is normal with kids of all ages, some critics believe that there is an appropriate time and place for everything.
Public Tantrums Are Hard To Deal With
An eyewitness spotted Jackson hitting another kid at the park. Well, Charlize Theron doesn’t take such behavior lightly. She handled this with a balance of both discipline and kindness. According to Star Magazine, who interviewed a witness, Charlize immediately removed Jackson from the park, and they went home. She apparently kept on telling him that hitting other people is wrong and is not okay under any circumstances. It turns out Charlize Theron isn’t the only one, even a parent with an A student will have to deal with this kind of outbursts at some point in their lives. No one is exempted. Either way, this did not go down well on social media. When it boils down to it, everyone has an opinion about how your children need to be brought up.
She Let's Her Son Express Himself

We love to allow our kids to be healthy and free to express themselves, and from the look of things, Charlize Theron does too. It’s funny how people expect you to be super composed and articulate during life tempting situations. We can’t really call this situation a life and death situation, but the outcomes of such events have been known to send a celebrities life spiraling down for the worst. Despite the offensive stance taken by the magazine, other moms on Twitter lashed out at the magazine for embarrassing Charlize Theron and even went on to Dr.Carles Facebook page to criticize her analysis. In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Charlize Theron confessed that indeed, Motherhood has its struggles, she, however, revealed that it has made her a much better person.

There is a simple answer to this; the pictures do not tell the full story of the events that transpired. What we can see are normal activities that any mom would encounter. I bet you could walk into any mall right now and you will spot the same behavior among four-year-olds and their parents. But that would be normal; they are not celebrity moms. However, what we see is a kind of pressure, a pressure that is put on parents to be perfect.

Charlize Theron was a new addition to the Singles Club when all this mayhem broke out. I will gladly share my opinion on this. It doesn’t matter who you are, your celebrity status, or how much money you have in your account, being a parent is challenging, and can be even harder if you are a single parent. So what analysis can be drawn from all the negative publicity she got from these separate events? Well, she was called a monster and made fun of because she decided to handle the situation with the information she had. Life has no manual, so just like parenting, that’s why half the times we do what we can in the throes. The public probably expected Charlize Theron to doll up and try and reason with her son. Well, you cannot reason with a fit-pulling four-year-old.
What Do We Learn From Charlize Theron's Situation?
What we have seen from the pictures seems a lot more like what the normal mothers I see every day have to deal with. Whether she is married or not, she is expected to take on full responsibility of raising the children. While it’s no excuse to be an abusive parent, you need to stand your ground, just like Charlize Theron did. A child who gets their way is always problematic to the running of a home. When a child learns how to manipulate their parents, it’s all over. You have all seen them; you will probably see them today at your favorite dinner making horror just because they are in public. They will talk back, have no remorse, and even show disrespect. However, not Charlize Theron, she clearly said, “Not today, honey!”
Charlize Theron Deserves Credit For Parenting
It’s not hard to feel for celebrities at times, not really, but sort of. If a celebrity is caught in an uncompromising situation, it's going to be very hard to shed a tear, because, they were probably doing something stupid. However, when it comes to being a parent, I tend to get a little soft. Your normal day-to-day parent these days is already subject to enough parental judgment, even at the very best of times. Now, put yourself in the shoes of a celebrity and imagine. If you ask me, they seem to be subjected to scrutiny at the most normal of things. Charlize Theron is an award-winning actress, but for this, she might not receive any accolades, due to the two incidences that have tainted her good name. Come to think of it, she deserves credit for keeping her cool even after being trolled all over the internet for being a good parent.
His Dress Is His Choice
It’s kind of depressing and contradicting how people expected Charlize Theron to let her son have his way after he had hit another kid in the park. Or that she should have let him run off or reasoned with her kid after dance class when he was pulling a public fit in public. Yet, when he wants to express himself, he should be denied that fact because it’s a little peculiar for a 4-year-old boy to dress as a cartoon character that he loves. To be brutally honest, it’s absurd. Children need to be able to express themselves; it helps build their personality and confidence, which is a vital tool for their future. Parenting is not for the faint-hearted, which is the reason behind the foster care system; it’s a hard task and a full-time job. Anyone who succeeds in this is, on my merit, is a hero.
