South Carolina woman drives Minnesota child over 1,000 miles to sexually assault her after grooming

The 23-year-old woman carefully groomed the minor girl on an app and then drove her 1,000 miles from Minnesota to South Carolina where the FBI nabbed them naked in bed

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA: A 23-year-old woman has been charged for allegedly sexually abusing a young girl whom she had groomed on an app. 

The woman reportedly drove her victim more than a 1,000 miles from Minnesota to South Carolina. Katrina Aliff, who hails from Greenville, was arrested in early September after she was allegedly caught in bed with a naked minor girl by FBI agents.

According to federal court records, Aliff had first met the victim on the social media app 'Amino' in March. The pair used Amino as well as another app called Discord to communicate and talk.

According to a report by , their relationship had become a lot more "intimate" by early May. The FBI revealed that when the child's father found out about the online exchanges with Aliff, he confiscated his child's phone. However, the two continued to talk on a tablet. 

During their chats, Aliff and the child had made arrangements for the woman to pick up the child in Minnesota and drive her to Greenville. On the morning of September 7, the child was picked up from her house and the two traveled back to Aliff's house.

In order to cover her tracks, Aliff dunked her phone into a cup of coffee. When the pair reached Aliff's apartment on September 8, Aliff introduced her to her roommate as a friend.

When the roommate had left, Aliff and the minor had a beer and then took a bath together at which point they engaged in sexual activity. Later, Aliff allegedly described the victim as "a little bit loose" due to the alcohol. 

According to the records, the woman and child ended up in the bedroom where the sexual activity continued. When Aliff was arrested, she was wearing only a tank top while the victim was totally naked in bed. Aliff is being held at the notorious Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.
