Story

Riley Taylor, a 12-year-old girl who receives a gift after having a near death experience and subsequently spending a second in Heaven. Her mother and father are currently separated and going through a divorce as her brother is diagnosed with asthma. She had recently lost her grandfather whom she was close to, and fears of losing her dad because of the divorce. Her gift of healing is used at first to raise money after she healed a neighbor's near dead cat, but her grandmother chastises her to use it without personal gain. She also uses her gift to heal her sick brother. She heals people and animals but then gets the disease that they had. She eventually dies from all of these diseases and goes to Heaven. Then, because of the prayers of her family, God heals her.
