The second season of Timewasters is back on our screens after premiering on ITV2 on Monday, March 11th, with a double bill.
The hilarious comedy follows a struggling South London jazz band who end up travelling back in time via a lift in an old run-down block of flats and this series the gang are taken back to 1950’s London.

Timewasters Series 2Timewasters ITV2 Cast: Daniel Lawrence Taylor
Daniel not only stars as Nick in ITV 2’s Timewasters but is also the creator of the show.
On top of writing and acting in Timewasters, Daniel has also appeared in several sitcoms including Uncle, ITV2’s 2015 comedy Cockroaches and even a small part in The Inbetweeners.
However, Timewasters has definitely been Daniel’s biggest success, with the show getting nominated for a BAFTA in 2018 for Best Scripted Comedy as well as Daniel being personally named a BAFTA Breakthrough Brit.

Kadiff plays Jason in Timewasters but has been in tons of other shows including Michela Coel’s Chewing Gum, Netflix smash-hit thriller Black Mirror and BBC Three’s Crims.
Despite this impressive resume, it looks like Kadiff’s biggest role is yet to come when he appears alongside Ryan Reynolds in upcoming Hollywood blockbuster Pokémon Detective Pikachu.
Timewasters ITV2 Cast: Samson Kayo
Samson currently plays Horace in Timewasters but you might also recognise him from BBC Three sketch show Famalam or Dave comedy Sliced.
He’s also just been nominated for a Royal Television Award for Best Male Comedy Performance so it’s pretty safe to say that Samson is smashing it.

Timewasters ITV2 Cast: Adelayo Adedayo
Currently appearing as Lauren on ITV2’s Timewasters, Adelayo has been an actress for some time, first appearing in The Bill in 2007.
Since then she has gone on to appear in cult teen drama Skins, BBC comedy Some Girls and even action movie Unlocked starring Orlando Bloom.
